Opening Scene

The party are talking to Latonia Moonwillow following the ridding of the evil druid 💀 Rastafaerian the Frost Druid and 💀 Cain the White Moose from the The Temple of Eilistraee.

To-Do

• [ ] Find the Red Wizard (Dzaan) in Easthaven, he may know more about the Mind Flayer larva growing inside Vlad T'Mityer
• [ ] Speaker Naerth Maxildanarr will be expecting the party to return with news about deposing Speaker Oarus Masthew in Termalaine.
• [ ] Head to the coordinates of the Mind Flayer ship, to help them, the brain mice and Vlad, but beware the Githyanki. Vlad dreamt the coordinates.
• [ ] Contact Iriskree Harrowhill if we hear anything about The Ebonheart; she will return the favour similarly.

• Party rested for long rest in Lonelywood, then headed off to Termalaine. Party met a Cold Light Walker; some members recognised the Walker as the guy who was strung out as a sacrifice and died near Bryn Shander back near the start of this adventure, when we left Bryn Shander . Originally the body of the deceased peasant (sacrifice) had disappeared by the time we returned to Bryn Shander; now we know why, he was converted and walked off!!

• In Termalaine
  • met with Speaker Oarus Masthew and updated him re jobs done. Speaker Oarus acknowledged Speaker Naerth Maxildanarr had planted some people into the town workers but Oarus was moving to remove them. He suggested we now avoid Naerth and Targos .
  • Aigis Macehammer informs you
    • that someone is collecting Chardalyn
    • the Githyanki have a fanatical hatred of mind-flayers and psionic users
• Bryn Shander
• Arriving at Bryn Shander, 3 Githyanki (1 hiding down a side alley!), confront the party, demanding if any of the party have knowledge about Mind Flayers. After the battle Vellynne Harpell * meets up with party and tells us the Duergar are the ones collecting the Chardalyn.

Secret and Clues

• [ ] Chardalyn - natural crystal (oval black stones) once thought useless until discovered that they can absorb spells. Apparitions have been observed wherever the Chardalyn was collected.
• [ ] Duergar are collecting the Chardalyn stones; they can turn invisible.

<aside> 💡 Invisible enemies are a constant threat to the peace and security of Ten-Towns. The duergar, malevolent dwarves from the Underdark, have been spotted in the area, leaving their boot prints in the snow. Their sinister intentions have been revealed - they are in search of a rare crystal called chardalyn. With this powerful crystal, the duergar are constructing a mighty and destructive construct that poses a grave threat to the safety and well-being of the townspeople. It is imperative that immediate action is taken to stop this menacing plan and safeguard the people of Ten-Towns from harm.
